Meaningful collaboration took place last week on Nguna Island, where SIL Global, the VBT, and the Vanuatu Christian Council joined together with translators from South Efate. Special guests included SIL Executive Director, Dr. Johnstone Ndunde. The focus of the meeting was on advancing Oral Bible Storying (OBS) in the local languages of Nakanamanga, Namakura, and Bislama, strengthening the mission of sharing God’s Word in heart languages.
The event began with a warm and joyful welcome from the Nguna chief, who graciously gave his blessing and authority for the collaboration to proceed.
